Nick has fitted new wardrobes throughout my house and designed and project managed the fitting of my new kitchen.
The best way to describe Nick’s work is to say he more than satisfies the provisions of the “Three Ps”;
PATIENCE, PRECISION and PUNCTUALITY
He showed great patience when I was choosing the materials and fittings for my wardrobe doors and was never reluctant to go to the supplier with me to ensure I was happy with my choice. However, his patience must have been truly tested when designing my kitchen because I kept changing my mind and I was not content until the fifth design was submitted. Through all this Nick let me have new drawings and prices, with a smile, and was always ready to advise but never put any pressure on me which brought to mind the old adage “the customer is always right”.
Masa built houses, as we know, are not the best in the world and the walls etc are certainly not always, if ever, true. Consequently, it is very difficult to fit any type of rigid unit and give them a professional finish. Nick, with a combination of precise measurements and construction (and not a little experience) somehow overcame all the problems and presented me with wardrobes and a kitchen of the highest standard.
Nick was always conscious of the need for being punctual whether it was meeting a client or bringing a project in on time. In the event he was ever going to be late for or couldn’t make a meeting he always contacted me to arrange an alternative time or date. Also, he never gave unrealistic completion dates which enabled him to maintain his very high standards, complete the project within the time scale and keep me happy.
I guess there is another “P”, which is the post project service. Unlike many contractors, Nick does not vanish into the sunset on completion of a project and is always happy to resolve any problems which may occur. In my case, thanks to his excellent preparatory work, the problems have been of a minor nature, ie adjustment to doors after the wardrobes and units settled after fitting.
